LOCATION
The Port of Phuket is located in the Western Seaboard of Thailand on the Andaman Sea at 07 49'.0 N. 98 24'.30 E.
Access of Vessels
1. Access for vessels entering or leaving the port is via a 120 m wide channel dredged to -6.8 m C.D. and some 1.5 km in length.
2. There is a 360 m turning circle to the north of the quay.
3. The tidal range on Springs is 2.7 m.

THE QUAY AND PORT AREA
1. The Port area amounts to some 26 hectares.
2. The quay is 360 m long with a 30 m wide apron.
3. The quay wall is of blockwork construction.
4. There is a minimum depth of water of 10 m alongside the quay.

INLAND TRANSPORT LINKS
1. Access to the port would be via Highway 4023 to Phuket Town.
2. Entrance to the port facilities via the gate house building at the junction of the port road and Highway 4023.
