Shpg Gazette 9/2/12 ISRAELI's container carrier Zim has announced it will increase its rates for services between Indian subcontinent and Europe by US$750 per TEU effective March 1. The increase will apply to all sailings from India subcontinent (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh) to north Europe, the Mediterranean (including Israel) and the Black Sea region. It follows other carriers' similar moves in raising the rates for Asia-Europe trade from March 1, which include Maersk Line, Hapag-Lloyd, OOCL, MSC, MOL, Hanjin and United Arab Shipping Co (UASC). |
