Reference is made to BSAA’s earlier advice that, in observation of the mourning for our late beloved king, we have decided to skip our Cocktail Party for this year.  BSAA Executive Committee also agreed we should organize a merit-making activity instead.

We are pleased to inform that BSAA and our Sub-committee for Member Activities and Benefits have proposed to sponsor a lunch for poor children which was duly agreed by the EC in the meeting on 21st February 2017.

The Human Development Foundation (มูลนิธิส่งเสริมการพัฒนาบุคคล) runs several socalled “mercy centers” which look after poor children.  We have chosen the Klongtoey community Lock 6 (please see map attached) for our merit-making activity.  This mercy center is looking after some 300 poor children, aged 2.5-6.  Apart from treating the children a lunch, we may also donate other items such as socks, dairy drink, etc.  The lunch will be prepared by the mercy center.
