OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION ARE :

To promote shipping interests with the aim to deal with problems of general interest to shipping in thailand and her territorial waters.

To consult and advise members on shipping problems and offer assistance for their benefit.

To co-ordinate shipping services and operations between shipowners, official and unofficial bodies who may be concerned with shipping.

To represent and promote the views and policies of the Association to the Government of Thailand and all other governmental official and non-governmental bodies which may be concerned with shipping.

To promote chairity and assist in public welfare.

The Assocition will not concern itself with freight rates and/or freight arrangements.

The Assocition will not take part in political activities
Membership fee : 1,200 baht per month (payment-once every three months). Shipowners and ships' agent will be classified as ordinary members, others will be classified as associate members. The final approval will be made by the Executive Committee.
